ESG Student Consultation 18th-22nd August 2025 in Bremen

Are you interested in climate justice, international exchange, and making a difference?
Then join the Student Consultation 2025!

Together with students from Ghana and Germany, you will explore the upcoming UN Climate Conference (COP30) and develop your own ideas and perspectives on the climate crisis.

Who we are:
The consultation is a joint project by the ESG Bremen (Evangelische Studierenden Gemeinde), the Evangelical Presbyterian Students’ Union of the University of Ghana in Accra (EPSU) and the Norddeutsche Mission. Six members of the Evangelical Presbyterian Students’ Union who study at the University of Ghana in Accra will be joining the consultation together with their youth pastor Reverend Courage Paemka. We also hope for several participants from Bremen, Oldenburg and Lippe to achieve a group size of around 14 people in total.

What to expect:

• Creative expression for climate justice Core goal of the program is to learn about climate justice and COP30 together while exchanging diverse perspectives.
• To amplify your voices, we will produce short video interviews in which you and your peers can share your views, hopes, and demands related to COP30.
• These clips are intended to be shared on social media and used as educational material in future events.

·         This will be a great preparation in case you want to join the next student consultation 2027 in Ghana.

·         You will receive participation certificates to add to your CV.

·         Learn about the work of the NM, ESG and EPSU.

·         All this will be free of charge, including meals and accommodation (if you are from Bremen, you will sleep at your own place, if you are joining 

          from another city, there is a guest flat of the NM).
